FAQ

What is the difference between a perennial and an annual plant?

A perennial plant re-blooms each year. An annual only blooms for one season.

When should I water my plants and how much watering is necessary?

Please refer to the Plant Care Tips portion of the Groundworks website.

Once I sign the contract how long will it be before my landscaping is installed?

Installation start times can vary depending on the time of year and size of your project. Your sales consultant can give you a more precise schedule at the time of your consultation.

Once my landscape project begins will the installation crew be there each day?

Once the landscape crew arrives at your home you can expect them to be there each day with the exception of severe weather or weekends. In rare instances there may be a delay in completion due to subcontractor schedules or last minute changes requested by the customer that may affect completion of the project.

Is there any supervision while my project is being installed?

Each crew has a lead Foreman to oversee your project throughout your installation. Your project will also be visited by Supervisor, Randy Leland as well as your Landscape Designers and owners of the company (Kim Hren, Linda Silich and Andy Silich)

Who do I call if I have a concern or question about my project?

Your Landscape Sales Consultant is your primary contact before, during, and after your project is complete.

What is the plant warranty?

All trees and shrubs have a warranty for one replacement for up to one year from the date of installation.

How often can I expect the Residential Maintenance crews to come to my home?

The frequency of our visits is up to you. A variety of services are available from weekly, monthly or even semi-annual visits. Our Residential Maintenance representative will help you determine the program that best fits your needs.

How is your permit process handled?

A member of our production team is responsible for obtaining all permits related to the portion of your landscape project installed by Groundworks Landscaping. Permit fees will be determined once the permit application is submitted to the village/city. All permit fees are the responsibility of the customer.
